Terms of service

Terms of service

These terms apply whenever you order from squirrelpoker.co.uk ("we", "us", "Squirrel Poker"), a business operated by Stuart Mills, trading as Squirrel Poker, of 4 Mountfield, Hythe, Southampton, Hampshire, SO45 5AQ. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.

Placing an order

An order is a request to buy, not a contract of sale. We confirm your order by email; the contract is formed when we despatch the goods. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is out of stock or incorrectly priced — and will refund you in full if we do.

Prices and payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling. Squirrel Poker is not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added to your order. Payment is taken at checkout via Shopify Payments and PayPal. We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct, but if we discover an error after you've ordered, we'll contact you before proceeding.

Delivery

See our Shipping policy for despatch times, delivery options and charges.

Your right to cancel, returns and faulty goods

See our Return and refund policy. This includes your right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to cancel most orders within 14 days, and your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if goods are faulty.

Product information

We try to describe and picture products as accurately as possible, but colours may vary slightly depending on your screen, and packaging may differ from images shown. Made-to-measure and cut-to-order items (such as poker speed cloth) are produced to the specification you order.

Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or acting without reasonable care, up to the price you paid. We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. We are not liable for business losses if you are a consumer buying for personal use.

Intellectual property

The Squirrel Poker name, logo and website content belong to us or our licensors and may not be used without permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
